BIG APPLE WORKSHOP IN ENSEMBLE SINGING A Western Wind Workshop in New York City. One day of a cappella heaven in Greenwich Village. Featuring the music of Orlando Di Lasso in conjunction with The Western Wind's Divine Orlando concert on June 5th.  Also Medieval, Renaissance, Early American, Romantic, Folk, Jazz and contemporary music.

Workshops Basics/Qualifications
Ability to match pitch and carry a tune. Knowledge of musical notation.
Tuition and Accommodations
$60 if enrolled before May 20th; $75 after May 20.
 
Arrival/Departure Info

The Workshop takes place at The Church of St. Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson Street in New York's Greenwich Village.  Take the #1 train to Christopher Street. Walk three blocks west to Hudson Street. Turn left and walk south 1 block. You will see the Church at the end of Grove Street. Please arrive by 1 pm or even a little before. Look for the the signs for Laughlin Hall to register.

1:00 PM Registration
1:15-2:00 warm-ups, large group piece, ensemble formation
2:10-4:20 PM Small Groups
4:30-5:30 Performance Seminar (mini-concert)
  Optional dinner at a local restaurant

Tuition: $60 If enrolled by May 20. $75 after May 20.

Transportation

Registration Policy
A $30 deposit is required to ensure your enrollment. To register please click on the REGISTER button, above.  A letter containing pertinent information and a questionnaire will be e-mailed to you upon receipt of your registration. Your balance due is paid upon your arrival to the workshop. Full refund will be made if you cancel by June 1.

Bring Your Group!
Pre-existing groups are welcome at Western Wind Workshops. If enough members of a group enroll, they can apply for a tuition discount and work together as a group. Please contact The Western Wind for details as early as possible.
